Pratheeksha Chritable Society (Register Number : CA/252/2007 )Koottanad  was formed in the year 2007 by a group of like minded inhabitants of Trithala Blcok and neighbourhood with the intention of serving poor by rendering service in the arias of Palliative care,  rehabilitation of differently abled and housing the destitute all over.

The society run by an executive Committee elected in General body by all its members and it is headed by President, Vice president and secretary. Society is apolitical and it has members irrespective of Cast Creed religion language and politics.

The patrons of the Society are VaidyaMadam Vasudevan Namboothiri etc..etc.. Present President of the society is Dr. Sethumadhavan a Retd. Civil Surgeon who is in the field of Palliative care for the last 15 years.
